WELCOME TO THE NEW SITE!

AUGUST 2, 2018

[/trx_title][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text]Well, it only took me six, maybe eight, months to get here – but who’s counting? I can not believe this labor of love is live! I’m sure it’s a lot to have your site redesigned, but redesigning it alone, by yourself, coding and all – that, my friend, is an entirely different beast within itself. One that I can now say I’ve tackled.

I wanted to redesign my site around a year ago. Then I blinked. And here we are. Life has been messy lately. I confidently switched full time jobs after many months of thought, and I still bawled my eyes out as walked out. We also started the renovation process on our kitchen after talking about it for several months now. It was the perfect storm of crazy and on top of all of that, I knew there was a very outdated website waiting on me.

In the middle of all of that chaos, I could sit down and just design. It involved creativity and thought, but it didn’t involve any major life decisions like the other bits of my life that were so up in the air, and that’s what I needed. So I sat right here in this chair, and I worked and worked. Sometimes I worked until 9pm because I was just mentally drained. Other nights you’d find me here at 12am, laughing because it seemed as if my husband and dog were having a competition on who could snore louder from across the hall. This little site has been my escape and happy place for quite a while, but y’all – I’m so happy to be finally sharing it![/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”3648″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]In the next few months I’ll be sharing so many exciting things! We ventured to Colombia, South America back in May. We visited Park City Utah in July. And – I’m going to be sharing our reno process, and even some fun recipes I’ve stumbled upon that are easy enough to make when you’re missing half your kitchen![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_separator color=”custom” el_width=”30″ accent_color=”#bdb2b1″][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]Thank you to every single person that’s pushed me when I felt this was a lost cause. I owe a special, special shout out to all my amazing brides and grooms + their families. My sweet friend Tori who’s been there for every SEO and content question I’ve ever had – and just being my partner in crime when it comes to any and every lunch break. And last, but surely not least, my amazing husband who recently brought me ice cream in a mug because I’ve been sitting in my office since 7am, but has also been so supportive of me since this journey began 10+ year ago. You are truly my everything.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]
