So often I’m asked “ what should we wear?!” Especially for holiday mini-session portraits where there’s this made up idea that you must wear red and green for your Christmas card photos. What most families don’t realize is that by choosing holiday colors, they limit the possibilities for their photos. Of course you wouldn’t want green and red plaid outfits that scream Christmas hanging on your wall during the 95 degree summers! So what’s the solution? Neutrals!
I love the way Caroline incorporated these cozy neutrals into their fall family session. The textures and neutral tones work beautifully together and they can use these photos for an extended period of time because the colors won’t date them.
Photographing this beautiful family was such an honor. Sweet Olivia was giving mom all the snuggles and they made for the sweetest portraits!
